Soles 4 Souls

This week our school is collecting shoes for the Soles 4 Souls charity. A simple donation of a pair of shoes can make a huge difference to someone’s life. Read here about some of the issues that can be helped by this venture.

Do you do anything to help others less fortunate? Does your school support any particular charities?

  1. Hi Room 13,

Our school also collects shoes for the less fortunate. Recently, we have been working on something called the African Library Project, where we try to donate books to Africa and help them build up a library. I hope these charity projects help!

  2. Hi Mrs. Thompson,

My name is Kylie from Mrs. Braidwoods class. I live in the Comox valley. We are doing this activity called Harvest The Valley. That’s were we collect food for the Food Banks. Last year we got 35 bags full of food. This year were trying to beat that. Did you know that there are one thousand people in the Comox valley going to the food bank per month? And half of those people are kids.

  3. Hi room 13,

My class, Mrs. Braidwood’s grade 7 class, is doing the Harvest the Valley food drive. I think it would be really cool to do the Soles 4 Souls though. Is this your first time doing the Soles 4 Souls?
